A great day for my 12 yr olds hockey team.

They won the tournament they were in. It did not look promising yesterday, they played the team they faced today in a round robin game and lost 4 -0. With a great turn around, they won 4 - 1 today.
Went by Chinook Mall today, not too crazy. Maybe people just know to stay away from the mall the last weekend before Christmas.
A fair number of properties for sale in Lakeview have gone conditionally sold this past week. Interesting, maybe a few lurkers decided to test seller motivation and got lucky?

An offer to my buyers?

I had an interesting and very creative phone call yesterday. The listing office of one of the homes I showed a couple of weeks ago called me. They wanted to know if my buyers wanted to entertain an offer from the seller. What a very interesting way to determine what sort of interest is out there, and maybe even spark the sale of a home. Kudos to them!

Christmas real estate.

As we are now 12 days from Christmas, the old line of be in your house before Christmas is starting to apply to Christmas 2012. Just received a feedback request call from one of the listings I showed last weekend. I told the lister that I was suprised she was calling me, I did not think it would last, even in the pre-Christmas market. Maybe everyone is waiting to see what the new year will bring. My ten year old has a hockey game tonight, both my guys being in pre-Christmas tournaments this year. Hockey every evening this week.
